Heroditus and the Callimichus made early lists of seven wonders which are named as seven wonders of the ancient world. Full list of seven ancient wonders are listed below :
- The Colossus of Rhodes
- The Great Pyramid of Giza
- The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
- The Lighthouse of Alexandria
- The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
- The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
- The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
1.The Colossus of Rhodes: The Colossus of Rhodes named as the modern Colossus. It is a statue of a Greek titan Helios situated in city of rhodes, on the Greek island
2.The Great Pyramid of Giza : The Great Pyramid of Giza is the known as Khufu’s Horizon also. It is the largest and the oldest pyramid of the there pyramids in the Giza Necropolis which is situated at El Giza,Egypt.
3.Hanging Gardens of Babylon : Hanging Gardens of Babylon was built in the ancient city of Babylon which is close to Iraq. It is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world which has not been definitely established.
4.The Lighthouse of Alexandria:
The Lighthouse of Alexandriais situated in Alexandria, Al Iskandariyah, Egypt. It is the first lighthouse of our world. It is also known as Pharos.
5.The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus:
Artemisia built this awesome creation named as Mausoleum at Halicarnassus after her husband died. It is situated in turkey. It was destroyed by earthquake.
6.The Statue of Zeus at Olympia: The Statue of Zeus at Olympia was visualized and created by Phidias which is a statue of Zeus about 13 m tall. It is situated in Olypia,Greece.
7.The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus: The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus is known as te temple of Diana. It is said that it is dedicated to the goddess Artemis.
